GREEN ROOM Terms and Conditions

GREEN ROOM — Website Terms and Conditions

These terms apply to your use of the GREEN ROOM website and your purchase or use of tickets for GREEN ROOM events. By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or purchase a ticket.

1. Event Access and Community Standards

GREEN ROOM events are curated experiences intended to foster thoughtful conversation and meaningful introductions. Ticket purchase does not guarantee introductions, business opportunities, investment, employment, membership, or any particular outcome. Attendees must act respectfully, comply with venue rules and lawful instructions, and not engage in harassment, discrimination, threats, or disruptive conduct. GREEN ROOM may refuse or end admission where reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance, or the wellbeing of attendees, subject to applicable law.

2. Orders and Payment

Prices are shown in South African rand (ZAR) unless stated otherwise. Orders are subject to availability and confirmation. Payment is processed through the payment methods made available at checkout. Do not submit payment details by email or direct message. Shopify order confirmation and payment-provider confirmation govern the status of an order.

3. Ticket Refunds

Tickets are generally non-refundable and non-returnable, subject to the GREEN ROOM Ticket Policy and any rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Please review the event details before purchasing.

4. Event Changes, Postponement and Cancellation

GREEN ROOM may adjust event details when reasonably necessary. If an event is cancelled, postponed, or materially changed, GREEN ROOM will communicate material updates using the contact details provided with the order and will address refunds or other remedies in accordance with applicable law and the Ticket Policy.

5. Personal Property, Conduct and Risk

Attendees are responsible for their personal belongings and for their own conduct. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, GREEN ROOM is not responsible for loss of or damage to personal property, indirect or consequential loss, or injury or damage arising from an attendee’s own acts or omissions, another attendee’s conduct, or circumstances outside GREEN ROOM’s reasonable control. Attendees should take reasonable care, follow safety instructions, and promptly report hazards. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law, including liability that cannot lawfully be waived for death, personal injury, fraud, gross negligence, or other non-excludable claims.

6. Website Content and Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, GREEN ROOM branding, copy, graphics, and original website content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may not reproduce, exploit, or distribute this content for commercial purposes without prior written permission. Event photographs or recordings may only be made or used in accordance with notices and consent requirements applicable at the event.

7. Website Availability and External Services

We aim to keep website information accurate and available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every description is free from error. Checkout and payment services may be provided by third parties and are subject to their own terms and availability.

8. Privacy

Personal information supplied during browsing, enquiries, or checkout will be handled in accordance with the GREEN ROOM Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law, including South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), where applicable.

9. Applicable Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights and jurisdictional rules that apply to you.
